Comment
tubulations through this eye were distinguished by lucent Müller cells and stained cones; enabled visibility of just cones, which were polygonal to spherical. Correlate to OCT, because a central reflective circular band was clearly visible in B-scan. Only the cones are left there in this eye.
-2564 tubulation with watery Müller cells/ compare to #41 (not matched in location, but this tubulation is typical for this eye, and #41 shows an ellipsoid ring) that per histology is best explained by cones; not sure of the sub-RPE material
-1500 open tubulation, branch point, cellular contents; watery Müller cells
-1500 open tubulation, branch point, cellular contents; watery Müller cells
-1200 tubulation, asymmetric cells, yet mitochondria form a band
1100 tubulation, thick Müller cell microvilli fringe, over well-stained RPE6
2500 tubulation, closed, mitochondria-rich spheroids
3000 reflection at edge of atrophy, prominent mitochondria in OS; 1 shed IS enveloped by RPE apical processes
09-24-14 ez review RPE BLamD for new RPE grading system
ecc: 0, 600 : RPE6 in double layer
